Since the Baltimore Chassidish Kollel opened in 2014, it has been a center of intense learning and fervent prayers. The Kollel started with around 20 members, many of whom have become Rabbonim, Dayonim, menahalim, magidei shiur and melamdim in communities throughout America.
The Rosh Kollel, HaRov Amrom Yungreis, is a scion of the famous Jungreis rabbinical dynasty and a talmid of the Neta Gavriel. His shiurim throughout the community are popular and well received. He recently published a collection of Shiurim on Halocho and Aggadato.
One of the highlights of the Kollel is the collection of Yahrtzeit Seudos for Tzaddikim such as Baltimore's own local R' Mechoel Forschleger, the Bas Ayin, R' Elimelich from Lizhensk, among others.
