Since the Baltimore Chassidish Kollel opened in 2024, it has been a center of intense learning and fervent prayers. The Kollel started with around 20 members, many of whom have become Rabbonim, Dayonim, menahalim, magidei shiur and melamdim in communities throughout America.
The Rosh Kollel, HaRov Amrom Yungreis, is a scion of the famous Jungreis rabbinical dynasty and a talmid of the Neta Gavriel. His shiurim throughout the community are popular and well received. He recently published a collection of Shiurim on Halocho and Aggadato.
The Bais Medrash is also the temporary home of Yeshivas Maalas Chein. The Rosh Yeshiva, HaRov Nosson Newman, has drawn many people to the Bais Medrash with his inspring schmuessen. The Bochurim add a lively Kol Torah to the Bais Medrash.
One of the highlights of the Kollel is the collection of Yahrtzeit Seudos for Tzaddikim such as Baltimore's own local R' Mechoel Forschleger, the Bas Ayin, R' Elimelich from Lizhensk, among others.
